Bac Ninh is determined to implement well the work theme 2021: “Solidarity, creativity, responsibility, example; focus on Covid -19 epidemic prevention and control and sustainable socio-economic development; successfully organized the election of deputies to the 15^th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for 2021 - 2026 ”.

In particular, the direction and management focuses in 2021 are on researching and disseminating the Resolution of the 20^th Provincial Party Congress and Resolutions on the 5-year socio-economic development plan for the period 2021 - 2025 of the Provincial People's council; existing contents, limitations and implementation-oriented solutions in the period 2021 - 2025, thereby build the implementation plans and roadmaps in a 5-year period, at the same time based on the goals, orient the socio-economic development plan for 2021, build the specific tasks to be implemented in 2021.

In order to successfully complete the goals and tasks of 2021, the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Planning and Investment to speed up the investment promotion activities; advise and promulgate the solutions to solve the difficulties for production and business, key sectors and fields. Effectively improve the policies to support small and medium-sized enterprises, start-up enterprises, and promptly resolve complaints and difficulties of the enterprises.

Continue developing the private economy to become an important driving force of the socialist-oriented market economy. Continue implementing the solutions to improve the investment environment, create favorable conditions to promote development and attract FDI enterprises to invest in the province, especially large enterprises, create driving force for economic development; implement the solutions to develop supporting industries, connect the domestic enterprises with FDI enterprises, form the supply chain.

The Department of Industry and Trade continues to develop the high-tech industries and supporting industries. Continue to implement the contents of the memorandum signed between the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and SamSung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. on the program to support the Vietnamese enterprises in Bac Ninh province.

The Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Health to improve the capacity, operation efficiency of the health system and the quality of preventive medicine. Speed up the communication work, focus on communication for prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic and other infectious diseases during the year; improve the capacity for epidemic disease supervision and detection, especially Covid-19 epidemic; ensure the quarantine requirements for the persons entering from the epidemic areas.

The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs advises the mechanisms and policies for developing human resources, especially high-quality human resources in the main sectors and fields, to meet the recruitment needs of the large enterprises, groups in the province; attach importance to developing skilled human resources, training and re-training to transform the vocation for the workers to adapt to the fourth industrial revolution. Continue to effectively implement the preferential policies for the people with meritorious services and social sponsorship; attach special importance to the housing policy, looking after the material and spiritual life of the workers in the centralized industrial zones.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism focuses on propaganda, construction and implementation of programs to celebrate the major holidays and anniversaries during the year, especially the communication and propaganda on the 13^th National Party Congress and the election of deputies to the 15^th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for 2021 - 2026. Effectively implement the task of preserving and promoting the tangible and intangible cultural heritages, especially the special National monuments, typical national monuments, Quan ho Bac Ninh folk songs, Dong Ho folk painting craft, ... associated with tourism development.

The Provincial Food Safety Management Board continues to strongly and synchronously implement the information, education and communication activities on food safety, strengthen management of food safety conditions for the food production, processing and trading facilities; strictly manage the food products that are produced and circulated in the province.

The Department of Information and Communication builds and develops the E-government/Digital government platform; ensure information safety and network security. Study, propose the solutions for building the digital infrastructure to carry out the digital transformation in the province. Implement the assigned smart city components to meet the development requirements of the province.

The Department of Home Affairs and the Provincial Public Administration Center improve the operation efficiency and service quality of the Public Administration Center; promote the application of public services level 3 and 4 to reduce the traveling costs, time, and facilitate the operation and implementation of administrative procedures.
