From January 01, 2020 to May 14, 2020, Bac Ninh Industrial Zones Authority issued 49 new Investment registration certificates (reached 52% compared to the annual plan) with a total registered investment capital of USD 166.77 million (including: 41 FDI projects, capital of USD 40.85 million; 08 domestic projects, capital of 596). Issued 158 adjusted Investment registration certificates, including 34 investment capital adjusting projects with total increased investment capital of USD 91.60 million. The total registered investment capital for new issuance and adjustment in the first 6 months of 2020 is USD 258.36 million, reached 26% compared to the 2020 plan. Compared with the same period of 2019, only reached 30% (USD 258.36 million/USD 870.40 million).

Although the production and business activities of the enterprises in Bac Ninh industrial zone have remained stable, some targets have not reached 50% against the growth plan for the first 6 months of the year as well as the plan in 2020. In the first 6 months, 30 projects went into operation, raised the total number of projects that went into operation to date is 1,100 projects. Compared to the same period of 2019, the production and business targets of the enterprises in the industrial zone reached 90% on average (only 84% for export). Compared to the plan in 2020, the results achieved an average of nearly 39% (only 36% for payment to the budget).
