According to the Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) ranking in 2021, Bac Ninh province ranks 7th out of 63 provinces and cities with 69.45 points, up 3 places and up 2.71 points compared to 2020, Bac Ninh was in the group of provinces with good quality.

At the Directive No. 02/CT-UBND, the Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee requested the agencies to have responsibility to coordinate with the Provincial Inspectorate in building the Inspection plan; strictly implement the Directive No. 20/CT-TTg dated May 17, 2017 of the Prime Minister on reorganizing the inspection activities for the enterprises.

Within the framework of the Vietnam - Korea Business Forum in Korea, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan on December 13th awarded the project development agreement between Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee and Amkor Technology INC. on construction of a semiconductor manufacturing factory with a total registered capital of USD 1.6 billion by 2035 and the Investment Registration Certificate for Phase 1 with registered capital of USD 520 million.

In the morning of December 8, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan received and worked with HCL Technology Group (India) led by Mr. Ravi Vajpeyi, Director HCL Vietnam in researching business cooperation opportunities in Bac Ninh.
